Originally from Melbourne, Christina first encountered yoga after taking a break from working with overseas non-profit organisations in 2012. She began studying and teaching in the classical Hatha yoga tradition in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This led to the discovery of the authentic, simple and accessible teachings of the Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda program established by AG and Indra Mohan. The Mohan’s were taught for many years by Krishnamacharya ‘the father of modern yoga’.
The extensive and increasingly renowned program promotes a traditional and personalised approach to yoga, combining the best of ancient wisdom and modern science.
Christina completed Yoga for Svastha: Teacher Training and Personal Well-being Program with their son Dr. Ganesh Mohan in 2015, and is currently completing the Yoga Therapy program in Bali and Melbourne. She is also an active member of European Based – Network Yoga Therapy, and attended an international conference on Yoga Therapy and the Medical Environment in Amsterdam in May 2016. She also completed a five day Yogic Mindfulness program in Amsterdam, and two day workshop in New Zealand.
